Early Education in America Since the Great Depression

I know that most of you will be smack dab in the middle of your workday, but if by chance you are home, have a break, or are driving somewhere, tune in on Tuesday, January 21st from 10 – 11:30 Eastern Time to hear listen to a discussion hosted by the New American Foundation on the state of Early Care and Education.

A panel of nationally recognized leaders in early childhood will be discussing their recent review entitled Subprime Learning: Early Education in America Since the Great Depression.

According to the website, the review “analyzes a wide array of indicators in policy, funding, family well-being, and children’s achievement across the spectrum of birth through third grade. By synthesizing information from recent data and policy reports, we point out which areas are improving, in stasis, imperiled, ignored, or in flux — an analysis designed to provide a clear and comprehensive picture of which policy areas need more attention.”
