Feel a Sense of Childlike Wonder
Someone posted this video on my facebook page recently and it made me so happy. I watched it about 10 times and then reposted it for more people to see.
Since March is dedicated to all things Infant & Toddler, this video reminds us that even the most mundane and even irritating life events were once brand new and exciting. This toddler is purely delighted by the rain – her excitement is infectious. You can feel her energy and her willingness to get wet and messy.
After endless days of cold and snow, we need to model a sense of childlike wonder for the children we serve. They don’t know that the rain and the snow is not something to rejoice in – so rejoice, we shall.
